will eating steak every day actually give me heart disease or is it just boomerscience?

You don't have to stop eating steak, just consume less of it at a time. The awesome fat is what they're blaming, and it might be true. Instead of a whole steak for breakfast, cut it in half and save it for dinner.

If you eat it in moderation with plenty of other stuff, especially fiber rich stuff like fresh melon, oatmeal, and dried fruits like prunes, you can eat it every day and be fit as a fiddle. If you eat literally nothing but pounds of steak for every meal you will pop a gasket before you hit 50. Especially steak with that much marbling. Though, again, nothing wrong with a nice juicy fatty steak either on occasion or thoughtfully balanced nutrient ratios.

A lot of studies like this are done on people with diets heavy in one or a few things and by scientists looking for a specific result. So if you eat a big ribeye steak everyday for the next 40 years you will probably get heart disease, but if you lower that to frequently like a normal person and have different cuts of steak 4 times a week ontop of a healthy normal diet then who the hell knows what happens to you in 40 years.

Boomerscience

>> No.10968453

Eat like a total carnivore. That means you eat organ meats, bone broth, skin, eyes, the entire animal, like the traditional cultures did. Your protein profile will be more balanced towards glycine, and less methionine. Consuming too much muscle meats will overload your system with methionine which research has shown to be bad for you. You can offset this by eating more glycine-containing parts of the animal like organ meats, bone broth, brain, etc.

Boomerscience.

As I understand it, the "study" that found that "eating meat leads to heart disease" grouped the subjects into two groups:

Vegetarians (also including vegans, as every vegan is also a vegetarian) and "Meateaters", which meant people eating a standard diet.

Of course, a standard diet means french fries, soda, alcohol, processed food in general.

And everybody realizes, even carnivores, that vegetarians are in general health minded. They won't eat as much, if any, processed food, do yoga or some other hippy bs sport and so on.

And low and behold, it turns out, people in the "meateater" group had a higher risk of heart disease.

Everybody can see, that that's a BS study.

What would be interesting, would be long germ (10+ years) controlled study grouping people into

Vegetarians
Vegans
Standard
Carnivores

I wonder how that would turn out...

Boomerscience to an unreal degree. I actually think that some boomers get off on making the population weaker and more malnutritioned by spreading this sort of shit. And then you have the mentally ill/weak vegans and vegetarians who spread this shit because they're so far gone. Let them all rot and die out while the rest of us thrive. That's the way I see it anyway.
