Used to dip the wings, but my father (from Buffalo) said the blue cheese is just for the celery, so now I feel it's degenerate. Many people do, however. What is the norm, and what makes the most sense?

Clearly blue cheese

Please refrain from any and all discussion of "ranch dressing." Thank you.

if your wings are too hot and you're feeling like a pussy the blue cheese can drown out the sauce no matter how hot it is.
It'll prevent the capsaicin from sticking to your tongue.

That is my fear, that people are dipping the wings because they are pussies. I want the spiciness - why eat buffalo wings otherwise?!

But, does the occasional dip in blue cheese add a good flavor to the dish? If I serve buffalo wings, should I serve blue cheese?

I usually keep things separate, but with wings, celery, and blue cheese dressing I mix it up. rub celery stalk on wing, dip in blue cheese. have a bite of celery, follow up with wing. spoon of just blue cheese dressing.

>t. weab who only dips sashimi in the soy sauce
as if fucking chicken wings are an established enough cuisine for there to be a "degenerate" technique to eating them

>> No.10966137

literally doesn’t fucking matter. eat what tastes good.

I agree it is complimentary flavor. Whether it happened by accident this is still the fact.

That is the problem with this world. We must elevate cuisines to sublime transcendence, even the lowly buffalo wing.

>>10966098
That is a good point. We must work to establish the technique presently.

I believe I will include blue cheese dip as part of the dish. The flavor works well, clearly, and don't have to dip every wing.

Buffalinian here.

Yes. Both are acceptable.
