I don't know how they do it but I'd guess there are a few brilliant people behind it. Imitators just can't pull it off. All they have to do is give me what I want, quickly, at a fair price, and McD's does it.

Most big chain fast food places don't put any filler in their meat. That burger looks like it was broiled at a low temperature which let the proteins that normally leak out during cooking congeal on the surface.

It depends entirely on who manages each franchise. There are two where I live. One is next to a high school and is always fucked up and dirty. Another is in the middle of a city where it's as busy as an airport, yet the place is always clean and they've never messed up my order
