I really enjoy eating a cold rotisserie chicken with my hands

Leave it in the fridge overnight and then just rip of pieces of it as you get hungry throughout the day

That sounds like it sucks. The part close to the skin is moist and tastes good, but as you get deeper down it gets really dry and bland.

I'd rip pieces and dip them in sauce maybe

I do this too. I pretend I'm a giant ripping up a roast dragon as I go about my daily business.

I have a sort of ritual when I bring home a rotisserie chicken
first I unbind it and cut it into portions.
leg quarters, breasts, wings. bag and refrigerate for later.
second, the real feast begins
I take that remaining torso and pick off every scrap and remainder of meat and skin on it and eat it as I go. nothing is safe from me. there's no one to judge. this is my time
my favorite parts are the little morsels just above the thigh in the pockets of the pelvic bones. if I'm lucky there will be a remnant string of undeveloped eggs in the inside of the carcass. Like little chicken flavored berries.
and it's all just so goddamn juicy.
my cats surround me hoping to get a sample of this savory bliss. I'm always kind enough to share
once I'm done, my hands are sticky with chicken juice and all that's left is a pile of soft bones. a deep sense of gratification settles in while I clean up. were I a smoker, this is about when I'd light one up
I get a sort of primal high when I pick a bone clean of any meat, so rotisserie chickens are a special treat for me.
they're pretty good for 5 bucks

I imagine you as some sort of half opossum/ half millennial smeared with chicken grease and covered in linty cat hair with a chicken leg bone sticking out of your mouth and smelling of cat piss, musk and cooler water.

This, eat the moist shit when its warm, with some pan fried potato cubes or salad. Then the next day get your cold half eaten chicken and a sauce bowl and go crazy.

I loved the fuck out of these, but the trash was a hassle and I found just grilling chicken is cheaper, even fancy thin cuts.

It's cheaper just to buy uncooked chicken. You can get like 8-10 thighs for $3 or less
