What is it about veganism that confuses the 4chan kiddies so much?

Vegans are humans who choose not to eat animal products. They might do this for various reasons - political, emotional, medical, or religious.

You can pick two vegans with wildly different beliefs, and that isn't a contradiction or hypocrisy, because veganism describes the behavior, not the motives. Sometimes there are even foods (such as honey) where different vegans have different opinions on whether it is compatible with veganism, this too is not a contradiction any more than "a 1 mile run is hard" vs "a 1 mile run is easy" is not a contradiction.

A dog cannot be "a vegan". A plant cannot be "a vegan". A food cannot be "a vegan" (although it can "be vegan" in the sense that the food is compatible or not compatible with a vegan diet). A company cannot "be a vegan". Only a person can "be a vegan".

I'm not a vegan but I am an adult who can understand what words mean without getting offended by imaginary judgmental persons whose different beliefs I take as some kind of personal attack. If any of you have any further trouble grasping this stuff, I'm here to help.

Well most of the vegan shitposting is just that. Whether it's an actual vegan or just a troll, all those shitty fallacious images with straight up lies being posted, trying to make stupid words like "meatcuck" catch on, etc. is going to make people hate vegans.

I don't entirely know what your point is because you kind of jumped topics and rambled, but that's why people don't like vegans a lot here. I eat meat but I still criticize bad anti-vegan arguments like "well plants have feelings too", because vegans are right about the moral and environmental reasons. I just completely disagree with the health reasons because if I don't eat meat once in a while I start to feel pretty bad, which is why I can't go vegan (even though I'm eating vegetarian food 90% of the time) but support the development of lab-grown meat.

the tragedy is fucking carnivores don't eat meat because of the taste of the meat, but the taste of salt, fat and spices... so not so much for the meat itself LOL
