It's different than Culver's in a lot of ways. They have a different vibe. Culver's has dope ass fried fish during Lent and malt vinegar for fries. I like them both a lot but Culvers is probably better.

Freddys does fish too. They have malt packets sas well. You can get 3 or 4 pieces and a side as a combo or a fish sandwhich with cheese and thousand island

My Culver's just had a really nice remodel.

I tried Freddy's a few times years ago, not impressed at all and overpriced. Tried a Culver's in the last handful of months for the first time, fucking amazing. Freddy's is not even in the same league.

This seems to be the case. Everyone loves the ice cream, but you specifically have to enjoy shoestrings and smashburgers to be impressed by most of their fare (personally I dig it but I know it isn't everyone's style). I'll grant that they do a decent hot dog for a fast food joint, but their chicken overall seems pretty sub-par.

So far out of all the fastfood burgers I've eaten Freddy's is at the top (also Shakeshack>>>In-n-Out but jesus christ shakeshack costs your first born). Overall service, cost, in restaurant comf, food quality, and consistency make Freddy's worth the repeat visits. I'm currently in the shitpit that is California, so I don't have access to Culver's but from the way the patties look I don't think I'm going to be feeling it, who knows. Also Freddy's pumpkin pie custard is a fucking godsend.
