I remember there being quite a bit but I didn't bother exploring the menu much. I usually got a banana shake, double bacon cheeseburger, and jalapeno poppers. They had other names for some of this though. I think it was ched R peppers and maybe bacon super cheeseburger.

I tried their corn dog and fried chicken sandwich. Neither was good. Their fries and tatertots weren't something I cared for either.

The biggest meme in the world right now is that "homemade is better". I disagree with it on every level, but homemade can be pretty good.

I bought a mandoline to slice toppings into uniform slices. I also made a hamburger patty press. I cut up wax paper into little squares and put them between patties in an airtight container. I use a scale to get 4 oz. patties. I always wanted to own a dairy bar, so this is as close as I get.

Duke's mayo, Plochman's mustard, tomato, shredded lettuce, white onion, lightly toasted bun (like a 2 out of 10), Boar's Head American cheese, Claussen pickles

Smoking hot cast iron skillet, salt, flip once, add cheese, turn off heat. Assemble.

Assembly is an important topic. I haven't mastered it yet, but I've done mayonnaise on the bottom to keep the bun from getting soggy. Mustard and pickles go up top followed by tomato and lettuce. I've also tried mustard and pickles on the bottom, with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion up top. I've also done the previous one but with the onion on the bottom with the mustard and pickles. Currently I'm doing everything goes on bottom and that's my favorite so far. Yeah, I don't know. They all create entirely different burgers.

For sides, I like either plain ol' tater tots, or Steak 'n Shake silver dollar potato hashbrowns -- both fried in vegetable oil. Everything else is fucking gay-ass liberal bullshit.

I eat way too many of these things. Probably gonna die an early death.

As far as assembly is concerned, for me, it's thinly spread mayo on both buns, then burger w/ cheese, toppings, mustard and ketchup. OR sub condiments for healthy spread of homemade thousand island with honey mustard in it.

Black bean burgers have always been great. Beet burgers are underrated.

House veggie patties are often very hit and miss, many times they're undersalted and mushy as fuck for whatever reason.

Portobello cap burgers are good, but most restaurants don't cook them very well and they end up kind of raw/undercooked, which is very unpleasant. Shake Shack has an interesting cheese-stuffed portobello burger.
