I have never eaten ratoutille before, though I did see the Disney movie with my daughter. Turns out the dish is French and contains fresh eggplant, fresh zucchini, red and yellow bell peppers, onion, garlic and fresh or canned tomatoes. A few fresh herbs, salt and pepper and that was it. Very simple but pretty tasty. I could feel the vitamins jumping off the fork into my bloodstream.

Recently, I decided to try changing my diet because I was feeling low energy, and brain fog. My diet basically consisted of bread and soy based meats with occasional fruits and veggies. I heard a lot about something called, "Raw Till 4" so thought I would give this a try. The first week since switching I wasn't really all that serious, and I found myself eating soy ice cream and lots of carbohydrates before Four. After about the second week, I found my cravings for processed foods and even my sacred bread were not really there. I haven't felt much desire to eat the way I have before. Now I am into my fourth week, and I am actually finding myself enjoying this new way of eating. I wouldn't say my energy is greatly improved, but I do notice I am feeling mentally sharper, and my overall mood has improved slightly without really trying. I find that I am constantly going to the bathroom. it's kind of driving me crazy. I find I am having to wake up two to three times a night to pee. Also I am losing weight. I count calories all the time. Before transitioning to raw, I was consuming around 1800 calories a day, and my weight stayed static. Now I am eating around 2500 calories per day and losing weight. How is this? I have been a hardcore calorie counter for many years, so it confuses me as to why I suddenly need more. Also I would like to give up coffee if this is possible.

No, they're helping normalize the use of fake meat.
The more fake meat sells the more other companies will start trying to produce it and make money off it, and that would maybe start to make eating regular meat less popular over time e.g. I could imagine if fake meat options were at every restaurant and store you might go to and it was so high quality that lots of formal blind taste tests proved it indistinguishable from regular meat, then a lot more people who don't care that much about the morality of animal slaughter but still kind of don't like the idea of it might start switching over to the fake stuff.

This medical researcher Michael Alpers went over to Papua New Guinea to investigate kuru, a then mysterious disease that was for some reason rampant among the Fore people who lived there.

I am the only Vegan in my home. and I finally decided that I am no longer going to be buying Non-Vegan food anymore. They are free to eat/buy it if they do it themselves or someone else does.

I got a lot of flack for this with friends saying I am being financially abusive since my husband can't work, and doesn't bring in an income.... but he does get checks once in a while for things like surveys GST etc
I will still buy his medication of course, just not his pizza pops, or cottage cheese....
