People weren't drinking Tecate? I can see why it's popular though, being that it's from Mexico but it Budweiser price. Tecate is super clean tasting too, it has no off flavors.

I can't tell which one I like more, this or Budweiser.

I keep buying Coors as my go to beer when I don't feel like spending money on craft, they're pretty drinkable at least for a tall boy or two. , But Budweiser is more carbonated or abrasive perhaps, which I like.

PBR is just barely palatable enough that I can drink 6-8 in a few hours and not mind them, miller high life is just too soapy for my taste and all those bud ice or natty ice variants shred my stomach. I used to buy craft beer 99% of the time but nowadays if I want to treat myself i'll just get a yuengling and call it a day

at my local corner store this is 3.99 for a 4 pack of tallboys whereas PBR, Busch, Natty Ice, Natty Light, Rolling Rock, etc are 4.28 for the same.

I last had Tecate about 10 years ago, and it tasted of dish soap. One thing I like about beer is that it's almost never putrid the way cheap wines and hard liquors can be. Even shitty beers are at least drinkable. Tecate is one of only a couple of beers I would decline if offered.

I always see Tecate cans in park trash cans, so I think they fit the first category a lot better.

High Life's resurgence is partly due to the marketing campaign. But other than that, it's stupid cheap, you can let it get warm and cool it back down and it will still be drinkable. It's my go to swill.
