I’ve had the Impossible. It tastes like meat and has a meaty texture, but it doesn’t taste like beef or have a beefy texture. If a company has the supply chain to produce and ship all the meat and dairy I would imagine they would want to adapt that to producing and shipping the synthetic meat. I tried a vegan “bacon cheeseburger” at some local fast food place (Plant Power, San Diego) the other day. It was pretty good.
The faux burger certainly didn’t taste like beef and the faux bacon didn’t taste like pork, but they still tasted like meat, albeit some new variety.
