Well I'm in Kentucky, and we don't care much for fancy beers, since most people don't give a damn for much outside of whisky and lite beer. It's a fucking shame. For what few places import craft and micros (from out of state), sales aren't enough for making a profit at discount price compared to wines, spirits, and liqueurs. People just don't like trying new things as much as you'd think, and spending the extra money on something unknown in a place like Kentucky, isn't very common.

We've got Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, Country Boy, and West 6th. Those are the main three I can think of, and I haven't had much from either of them that really impresses me. They're basic shit really.

I'm not usually crazy about extremely hoppy stuff but it was amazing, very bitter but well-balanced with a deep, almost earthy taste. Like nothing I'd ever had before.

They're not bad. In fact, they're decent, if not good.
I just wish more breweries could offer food and really obscure shit, as well as producing enough unique shit that people all over the states want. I wish we had the same variety and availability fr beer that we do for things like sodas and juices, but without all the mainstream, commercial factory pushing shit. I also try not to sound like a basedboy when I try saying this. I want more Dark Horse and Against the Grain stuff.
