You dont need cast iron pan to make good crust on your meat!

There i said it. If i can do pic related in a regular pan why would i need a cast iron one?

You just need a bit more care and attention to the meat.

And after 5-7 min you can get this(pic related a quick bite for noon) if your pan is hot. Its pork so the meat is even extra white compared to beff.

So tell why do i need a cast iron pan?

you dont need a cast iron pan, a carbon steel skillet is superior to cast iron in almost every way- you still have to season it and take care for it like cast iron. theyre cheap too. you're welcome.
