I'd recommend adding at least some paprika to any tomato based sauce. It's a great way to nuetralise the acidity, makes it taste all around more balanced

I eat it when I'm at my cabin because the grocery store doesn't really sell much consistently other than the components for chili and spaghetti.
It's more of a "I've been breaking my balls all day jacking up cabins and clearing trees so I just want something calorically dense inside my stomach" rather than some haute cuisine.
Poor man's food that does the trick in a pinch.
