Ginger ale is a good mixer for most liquors. Rum that isn't spiced is similar to vodka in that it mixes with almost anything too. Seltzer, Juice and soda are good mixers but just be mindful of the amount of sugar.

I'm a happy alcoholic. I'm looking up memes on /wsg/ and /gif/ making me cry but I'm enjoying it. I love life. No anon that's one way that it starts. It's how it started with me. I drank because it allowed me to feel powerful emotions again and it felt good to get hit some real highs and real lows to make up for the monotony of life. That lasted a few months before it got stale, but the drinking stayed. Now I just get ridiculously fucked up and feel nothing despite it.

If your last alcohol was in less than 48 hours, wait a day. Alcohol fucks up blood and liver tests. I'd give it a week (month would be ideal as alcohol leaves your system in ~21-28 days) and go get a blood / liver test done.

In terms of "knowing" if you have an issue - no, alcohol related problems creep up on you.

On the drunken part - I recall reading that one's liver is capable of burning 1 gram of alcohol for every 10 kilograms of your body weight per hour.

Obviously, if your liver is fucked, that's going to be a lower number.

Currently I'm just trying to get enough water into my system because this last binge I haven't properly gotten enough water back into my body even once.
Everyday at 9am I've been to one of the two locals to get 4+ bottles of wine.
I do drink water during the night but I should keep going in the morning. The number of times I wake up during the night with a completely dry palette is very annoying, but I've only gotta stop drinking alcohol to fix that.

I drink because I work 40hrs/week at a job that I dislike. I can’t face the fact that I waste the majority of my life working and doing customer service for complete retards. Every day I dream about winning the lottery or getting big in crypto. After I get home from work I want nothing more than a refreshing crisp beer to help me unwind and get my mind off responsibility for at least a couple hours, until I have to wake up and do it all again.

The overpressurization possibly stems from compromised liver function and subsequent hepatic portal system backup. Then again, bright red blood typically indicates arterial blood not venous blood. If you try supplement pills or anything of the sort - ingest them at night unless the flyer specifies otherwise. You'll piss most of it out during the day.

It's weird... I know from experience that the best way to handle stress at work is to go home, eat meat n veg, have a bath, lay on the sofa watching wildlife documentaries then go to bed early and get a good rest. The next day I'm all fine and dandy again.

Bust most of the time - like now - I buy a bunch of booze, feel stressed while drinking until the drunkenness kicks in, then feel like shit the next day with reduced ability to handle stress.
