Steak is meme food. Even with good seasoning, the taste and texture is basically worse than any other way to consume beef. Maybe some people like just plain meat flavor but I think it's an incredibly boring taste. It's not bland or anything but the actual taste of it by itself, seasoned or not, is just uninteresting to me.

Cool! I like how when I chew well done steak, the individual "threads" of meat split apart. I really like that texture, and you don't get that when the steak isn't cooked as much. I've tried it cooked less many times of course to give it a chance, but just don't prefer it. It's fine if you don't like it well done, though! I think it's funny how upset some people get over someone having a different preference!
