Raw beef? No. As far as I'm concerned, raw beef is as much of a waste as well-done. I've found my perfect steak;

London broil marinated in Blackberry Jew wine (manischewitz) for at least 24 hours, seasoned with mediterranean sea salt, black pepper, and brown sugar bourbon spice rub (though applewood has also yielded good results,) pan seared in duck fat, to rare and ONLY rare (1 minute 20-30 seconds depending on thickness)

Best Steak I've ever had but I'm open to suggestions. I have a metric fuckton of London Broil and Filet Mignon from a italian butcher my family is friends with and I kind of want to experiment.

I'm pretty insistant on rare. Anything past that, and it's just not the same no katter how you cook it.

That pic is actually closer to medium rare than I'd typically like.

Completely opposite of the truth.
Raw meat has enzymes in it that allow it to practically digest itself. Cooking meat destroys those enzymes.

I like raw steak, or raw ground steak, but if you get raw ground beef from somewhere, i won't eat that. who knows how many cows are in that? I want to know it was one solid piece of solitary meat

nigga did you read that, it's for eating ground beef, which is automatically less dense and mixed with other beef, counteracting the density. my previous point stands, beef is a dense meat that requires water injection, grinding, or a sufficently long time to become infected, a quick sear on the surrface is good enough to counteract beef born disease,unless of course the above conditions, besides.

The infection happens while the animal is still alive. T. gondii is an intracellular parasite. It lives within actual skeletal muscle fibers and gets there by general circulation on vehicle leukocytes after crossing the intestinal epithelial barrier. Post-slaughter processing has nothing to do with it. Please retake that middle school biology class you failed.

Also, plumping with saline solution often creates enough osmotic stress to kill them. So even though you're abusing the term 'density' to refer only to extracellular space you're still talking nonsense.

Dude, middle school and high school biology in the south is spent presenting arguments about why the biblical creation myth is correct as opposed to evolution. Them hi falutin' words like leukocytes are just pretentious crap to make us feel dumb. Fuckin' coastie.
