I've always wanted to shop at Aldi. I have passed several of them on vacations, but never bothered to stop and go in. Looking at pictures, it appears to be very similar to Save-a-Lot which I used to shop at all the time. I shop exclusively at Kroger these days.

I just went there today. I bought five pounds of country-style pork ribs for a dollar a pound. Eight packages of Skyr for four bucks, four loaves of Arnold whole wheat bread for 89 cents each, a pound of strawberries for a dollar...

On top of the great prices on staple foods, they have a better selection of cheese and sausages than any of my other local stores, as well as the literal best selection of "International foods" in town (not counting the actual Asian markets).

The best part is, they built my local Aldi directly across the street from Walmart. Samfags been BTFO ever since.

Some shit in Aldis is good quality-you just have to find out what is good and what is shit.

1) You can't do your entire shopping at Aldi. Once you bought you flour, salt and eggs, you still have to go to high end stores for decent produce/food. Their range of olives or Parma ham (at Aldi) is clown-tier.
2) The place is depressing. Nobody wants to shop around with welfare recipients, hobos and other fucked-up people. Shopping must be an enjoyable experience, not buying what you need in a rush and get the hell out. You might as well order online in that case.

I don't understand why people think Aldi goods are the exact same as the original brand. Would companies really hurt their own flagship product and produce the same quality for aldi?
