My hangovers a so bad that could never imagine being a heavy drinker. I had my share of shitty episodes in life where I would drink a couple of beers every other night.

Nowadays I only enjoy it after an exhausting day or when in good company. Only exeption is when I buy a good brand of whisky, then I normaly drink a couple of small glasses every night until its empty.

But drinking when depressed or being bored would amplify the feeling in 70% of the cases.

Its not overrated, but I would say you only get the best out of it if you mainly do it for taste and stop when you have a slight buzz and then wait for the next round atleast until that buzz is nearly gone.

Yes, drinking is fun but eventually you'll get bored of it and realize you wasted a lot of time you could have used being productive and making money or exploring hobbies and actually accomplishing something or learning something.

It builds the confidence though, so makes it easy to get laid, even around sober girls... they love the cocky arrogance for some reason.

Cocktails are a hobby of mine, and along with that, learning as much as possible about liquors. When I do drink, I keep my shit together and pound water in front of my computer when I go home, then wake up with minimal to no hangover
