I've actually tried them cooked many different ways. A lot of people have suggested I've never had them fresh, which just isn't true as I used to grow my own despite not liking them (usually would give them away) and live in an area with plenty of access to fresh produce. I'm not sure what it is about the flavor that i find so repulsive, but I've never been able to get over it. With a lot of things, I grew into them as I aged, especially things like olives. The millennial meme is avocado toast. He wouldn't touch that with a 10ft pole.

He basically only eats a few different foods, but they're all disgusting. He drinks milk instead of water and can go through an entire gallon in a day. We share groceries because we're all friends here, and he replaces what he drinks. However, it's really annoying to look in the fridge, see we have 3/4 of a gallon of milk, then go to make dinner with said milk at 6pm and have less than a half cup left.

His last grocery trip consisted of these items:
Bologna
Green Apple Gatorade
Milk
White bread
Slightly more expensive ramen (the kind that comes in a cardboard bowl)
A few of those trashy chuck-in-the-freezer cocktail pouches that are like, 2 bucks each.
Store brand hot dogs from the lowest-end store in the city
Hot dog buns from same store
Store brand pizza rolls

If it can't be cooked in the microwave or toaster oven, he won't buy it. The only time i've ever seen him actually use the stove was to boil a whole kielbasa.
