Taylor Gourmet does a Big Mac clone that is nice. It is a local chain in Washington D.C.

They closed the closest Five Guys to me, but I can easily get to a "Z Burger" clone restaurant (local chain that copies Five Guys) and I like Shake Shack sometimes. Burgers are best if you rotate styles so you don't get bored.

Also, turkey burgers are underrated. They are good with guacamole.

If I make a burger at home I don't have a griddle and can't get heat that high so it won't taste as good.

OH and if you ever visit Washington D.C. try a local restaurant called Lucky Buns. They serve "Australian style" fancy pub burgers. Try it with the bacon jam.

It is much better quality. All the options I listed are going to be 10-15 for a burger even fries, even 20. Totally worth it though. I also eat McDonalds but it is nice to rotate with better quality.

I don't really see people who look like gangsters that often and I am in the poor neighborhoods sometimes. Maybe I'm not in the RIGHT poor neighborhoods at the RIGHT times, but they aren't like swarming everywhere. There's certainly a lot of poor mestizos around, but they don't necessarily look gangster, just day laborer males and women who do housekeeping, hairdressing, things like that. Pretty rare to see white people here working in a fast food place, let alone making the food. That's one of the first things that struck me when I lived in Portland, OR, was how the fast food was mostly staffed by whites.
