For me it's the BLT, the easiest decent sandwich to make

You are incorrect. The ham and swiss is the easiest decent sandwich to make.

Seems fair, but Anon, you must answer
>Crispy bacon
Or
>Soft to crispy bacon

>not using both
The real question is whether to use peppered bacon or to grind black pepper into the mayonnaise

>> No.10656829

>>10656810
Wrong. The toast sandwich is the easiest to make.

Whipped up one of those aswell, but the quality of ham & cheese sandwiches can vary so much that it's not as safe a bet as a good old BLT
still, this one was pretty good
>>10656813
I gotta say, if you're gonna chop up the bacon, go all the way crispy. If you're gonna use the whole strip, soft-to crispy gives you the beat range of textures, since some spots will be crispier than others

Try a BLT without the B and add some crunchy potato chips instead. Thank me later.

BLT is god-tier and underrated.

That sounds like a good idea, but i've never been comfortable with putting a carbohydrate in a sandwich

Most sandwiches are actually much better with a little creativity and no meat. Seriously, try the potato chip sando. It's heavenly.

You can only make a good BLT in the summer.

Not gonna lie, i have put potato chips in my ham sandwich more times than i can count, but I hadn't thought of putting them in from the beginning
>>10656916
Good thing summer is starting then, huh?

Now you just need to get rid of the ham. It actually ruins the taste.

That's not true at all. I think the BLT is a total meme because peak ripeness for the tomatoes is in the hottest part of summer and lettuce grows in cool weather and goes to seed as soon as it gets hot. It's entirely a contrived sandwich developed by shipping chemically grown produce thousands of miles and warehoused for weeks. The concept is good, but it's impossible to have those 2 produce items sync at their best.

tldr; that's why the based south developed the tomato sandwich with Duke's Mayonaise.

Is a tomato sandwich just tomato and mayo?

Bacon always turns out better when I microwave it
