Japan and not because i'm a weeaboo but because they specialize in food all over the world
that's why they have the most michelin stars
I can go to japan and get a pizza
or maybe a Bœuf bourguignon.

Maybe yeah, but by that logic American, Chinese, and Japanese food are the top 3 because you can get them almost anywhere. But I personally don't like Japanese food that much, I just can't see myself cozying up and watching Netflix with a plate of sushi. Mostly cause I don't like sushi.

Dear lord your reading comprehension is bad. It's not about prevalence you ponce.

IT's about autistic attention to detail and being a perfectionist. Most of Japan's michelin stars are for foreign food, not Japanese.

>>I personally don't like Japanese food
That's fine. The dude's point was to suggest Japan because they do other nations food so well.

Look at the michelin guidebook for Toyko and note how many starred places serve Italian, French, Chinese, etc. Tokyo is a geat place to be if you have a hardon for traditional French, Italian, etc.

Hate to say it, but France is way ahead when it come to culinary art. I'd say followed by Italy or Thaïland.

I like my own country's cooking. As I grew up with it. Sure their are nice foods from around the world, but nothing can beat a good home cooked meal that you remember eating a lot of times.

Isn't everyone about ready to just give it up and acknowledge that we are all on the same fucking planet?

I do not like this practice of nations. If we are going to make distinctions, it should be based on regional skills... like basketball and swimming.

I always find it strange why Swedes are so hoighty toighty about their food. You can order boiled potatoes and meatballs in a lot of restaurants there, but there is absolutely nothing special about it. What's the craze? Is it just comfort food?

Also, köttbullar are turkish.

Greece, probably. Seems to be something for everyone whether you're vegetarian, avoid certain meats or are just a pure meatoholic. Plus the food is well seasoned, and very flavoursome.

Although a reminder to Greek food vendors in the west that falafel and halloumi aren't Greek reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

hungary is a strange choice, close to just being objectively wrong. i mean sure, everybody likes stews, sausage, cabbage, soft cheese, paprika and fried stuff, but its similar flavors all the time.

Gotta say hungary has great produce though, always great to shop at the local markets, though thats true for many eastern european countries.

my choice for best food would be china easily
