The burgers are okay if you eat them immediately. Not sure why they do that tight foil wrap; it just makes it so if you take out, you're going to have a overcooked mess with slimy veggies by the time you get home.

Fries are shit probably 90% of the time, I wound up going in right when they opened last week and got the fries, which I had pretty much gave up on, and they were incredible. Normally they are a gross, soggy, greasy mess. These were nice and crispy.

The trick with five guys fries is to pour them out of the container ASAP so the grease doesn't make the ones near the bottom soggy.

I'll agree that five guys is among the best but people are right to criticize the price. COnsidering I just make my own burgers most of the time I don't mind spending extra money on them every once in a while though.

I've never had this problem and I've been to multiple five guys locations. I have heard that quality varies depending on where you are though.

As an New Englander I used to defend Five Guys to death but that all changed since my last business trip to Texas. Decided to try Steak 'n Shake and it probably the best burger I had in a while. Fries were a little lacking, but you can get a full ass meal with milkshake there for the same price of a single bacon burger at Five Guys. It makes me ashamed to live here on the east coast desu. I wish I was back.
