Produce is cheap as shit. Oats are cheap as shit. This is a lie. You can buy staple foods like sweet potatoes for 88 cents a pound. Liver is also super cheap. There is no excuse for cheeze its. There is no excuse for buying food from walmart.

I sympathize with people in food deserts, but they're not forced to eat cheese nips. You can eat some real food that's packaged.

Understand that some people don't have a car or access to public transportation and live miles from a real grocery storeally.
So, they're forced to go to convenience stores and gas stations.
Expecting them to walk 3 miles in the summer with perishable foods is ridiculous.

The solution is to severely limit corporate lobbying money to politicians. This is the reason why obscene amounts of tax money goes to grain subsidies. Corporations then spend fortunes on researching how to make these grains taste as good to a human being as possible, make advertisements as psychologically viral and persuasive as possible, while simultaneously funding studies that say the food is part of a healthy human diet (which, also due to the revolving door of lobbying to appointed positions in government agencies inevitably turns into endorsement). That's really how it works. Many systems are just as fucked up for the exact same reason.
