This shit is real, and it spans many customer service jobs. I was a convenience store manager for a about a year and was sent to work multiple different locations, and what I found was corporate always placed attractive women/clean cut men in upscale white neighborhood stores, while blacks and frumpy ass troll women got sent to the fucked up poor neighborhoods. When I conducted in-store interviews I could guess with a great degree of accuracy whether I would get them for my store or if not, which one they would get sent to based on what they looked like.
