it will taste the same. Once the chicken gets cooking the fat and juices will drip down into the pan and the veggies will cook in them.

This. The space between the vegetables and the meat is a good thing because it allows to cook separately. The vegetables won't be a pile of mush, basically.

don't worry dumbasses the chicken is going to fart and shart juices and ass grease all over the vegetables, expect instead of the back of the chicken and all those soil foods gently steaming into a bland soggy mess there's actually some air circulation and a chance of roasty toasty veggies and some color on the back of those thighs

i...I forgot about this thread and didnt take more pics.
I used the grate so i could lift the chicken out and mix the potatoes and add onion it turned out good (wasnt realy meant to be great)
