This. Some machine processed frozen meatball? Soft unsubstantial bread? Paperthin slices of provolone. No thanks.
This called for a real italian restaurant (they do make subs you know!). Housemade meatballs are like the signature item at most places. Good cheese or else! Fresh crusty bread cooked in a brick oven. Browned cheese melted over the top.

Maybe they would have made you a new one, but sometimes Subways are crazy cheap and kind of weirdly run by people who are stingy and lay on a transparent single slice of tomato on one end of the sub when you say 'extra tomato please"

Subway is trash at everything, just don't go there. If you want a meatball sub and you've only got chain places available to go to, Firehouse makes a pretty decent meatball sub. They're also just better than Subway in every way, so there's that.
