Believe it or not, meat has a lot of benefits. Any diet that requires supplementation is not the ideal diet. I'd argue the Okinawa diet is probably the healthiest. Occasional fish/eggs and a largely plant based diet.

Fish is a staple of most centenarians diets and mercury poisoning is a meme unless you are consuming ungodly amounts of canned tuna or similar grades of fish.

Overly processed food is the real enemy. That includes sugars, grains, oils, meats, etc. There is a big difference between grass fed free range cows and factory farmed ones living on gmo grains.
