If you're a normie fit guy walking around. Not some crazy bodybuilder, no athlete, just some visible 6-pack and size 32 jeans. Is it so Haram to have 30-35g of granulated sugar daily (aside from a couple bananas and blueberries and other clean carbs)?

Macros are implied via clean whole foods. Granulated sugar is cancer.

I'd say cut sugar out whenever you can. More and more clinical research points to a direct link to increased cancer risk.

It honestly doesn't matter as long as you aren't gorging on sugar every day

Sugar is only bad for you if you're obese. A normal weight person aint gonna develop diabetes unless they're already susceptible to it.

anecdotal but i set myself at 10g a day and it never comes from added sugar. 20g is a bad day and is usually after exercise when muscles make use of it, usually fruits and whatever is in the protein shakes (pretty sure theyre full of sucralose and they dont have to list it so they all say 0g fuckin bullshit). it doesnt affect my fat too much, im at %7-8bf rn, but ive always been lean. i mostly reduce sugar intake for my complexion. for the average guy who doesnt have a nuclear reactor for a metabolism id say 30-35g per day is going to increase your fat content and def put you at a higher risk of heart disease and diabetes esp if its not fruit which comes prepackaged with fiber to help you digest it slower

at picrel i was having more than 35g of granulated sugar, besides all the clean carbs from oats, rice, fruits

>> No.10520932

Yeah not bullshit. Considering there is 19 grams of sugar in a single apple, and you body produces a fuckload of sugars from more or less all grains you eat, you are getting way more than you seem to think you are.

>> No.10520953

is 150g-200g of carbs too much? i eat beans and bread a lot, sometimes oats, but i don't eat any candy or chips or potatoes or anything. lots of vegatblaes, but rarely fruit. i eat 2 meals a day and don't snack at all.
