20th Century American cuisine is mostly dogshit, with a few exceptions on the high end. But American cuisine existed before the 20th Century, and some of that was great. BBQ, Louisiana cuisine and a lot of Atlantic seafood cooking traditions are badass.

I've had American fish fry, which is good. I'd imagine it's something that's hard to fuck up, so that's probably a pretty good dish of theirs, if it's even historically English. And to think on it, some of their takes on other cultures dishes are decent, like tika masala.
