Ramen takes very little hands-on time. The stock can simmer while you're doing more important things. If you want to get really hands-off then use a slow cooker.

Make a big batch of stock, portion it up and freeze. Then when you want ramen you can just grab a block of stock out of the freezer. I'm sure even your busy schedule has time for that.

And lets face reality: even if you aren't making ramen there's not much that's higher priority than cooking yourself a quality meal.

This is really the only tasty instant Ramen (that they sell here) in my opinion. All those chicken, beef, pork, shrimp flavored Ramen I tried just have this disgusting unnatural taste to them. They taste like water with artificial flavoring added to them. At least this almost tastes like something freshly made. You can actually taste some individual flavors instead of just salt and the heat is not overwhelming like with all those SPICY RAMEN CHALLENGE Ramen.

It's a big shame though that they are always so damn stingy with the toppings. Would it be too much to ask to add more? Frozen pizzas are able to put a decent amount of vegetable and meat on them so why not instant Ramen?

To be fair there isn't any one magic test that can tell you someone definitely has "scurvy." Even if you have low vitamin C levels currently that doesn't mean you had low levels long enough to cause scurvy, it just means right at that moment your vitamin C levels are low. The closest thing to "knowing" someone has scurvy is just identifying symptoms and noting the symptoms go away after nutrition is restored, but there are a lot of potential causes for symptoms like that and a lot of problems that get better when proper nutrition is restored.
So when someone says a given person had scurvy, it's not the same as if they confirmed you have hepatitis. It's just an opinion, and if that sort of opinion is given in the case of a modern developed patient there's some hints of a "young people today aren't eating right" bias going on. I would treat that sort of diagnosis as similar to the multiple personality (dissociative identity disorder) diagnoses sometimes given out today, where it's technically a real diagnosis but also probably says more about the doctor making the diagnosis than anything else.

You have the internet. You can order anything from anywhere.

It's been years since I bought any, but I got mine from an Asian market in Houston TX. I think the brand was "Vifon". It said "retort pouch" on the package; that's the industry term for the pouch containing the meat (kind of like how Starkist tuna comes in a pouch).

Aren't they supposed to just be a basis? That's how I generally use them at least. Sure you can eat them plain, but that's just like eating white bread dipped in flavored salt water. Favorite ones are from indomie. I tried those more expensive meme ones, both regular and black, and they were fine, but not really worth the extra money.
Just throw some spring onions and/or mushrooms, or eggs in there. It's easy to make it a bit more nutritious and tasty at the same time.

There's barely anything in these, it's just some empty carb calories

Obviously. But chances are that remaining 75% of your diet is plenty good enough to fulfill one's dietary needs.

Of course if the entirety or majority of your diet is "empty" then you'll have problems. But that's so rare it's not much of a concern.

As a metaphor: do you insist that every second of your time is 100% productive? Or do you balance your time between productive things and recreation?

No, that's retarded. If someone's already eating ramen noodles as part of their diet it would be a bad assumption to make that they get good nutrition from other meals. And this is all an inane tangent anyway because any non-autist would understand it's completely normal and acceptable to point out a given food is empty calories.
Whether someone is eating non-empty calories elsewhere is something each person can figure out for themselves. Nobody's trying to holistically optimize your entire diet for you just because it's correctly pointed out that ramen noodles are empty calories.
Your work analogy is also retarded because again nobody cares about your entire ongoing daily nutritional profile in the first place. Nobody said you aren't allowed to ever eat empty calories. Stop trying to make bizarre global extrapolations from what should be very straightforward comments about the lack of nutrition in a particular food item.

Then what's the point of mentioning that instant ramen is empty calories? The statement is completely inane and useless unless you are trying to imply they should be avoided.
