I cooked off a little of the liquid then added tomato paste, the rest of the beef stock, and both tins of tomatoes.

I only let the macaroni cook about a quarter way just to absorb some of the vegetable stock flavour. Adding it with the paprika and italian spice mix.
The pasta could be added a bit later but I like it a bit overcooked.

Adding the cheese after letting it reduce a bit. Forgot to add a bay leaf so I tossed one in. Going to let it reduce some more.

why use beef stock???

>> No.10466771

>>10466754
The beef stock is plant based too. TVP is actually cheaper and just generally nicer to cook with imo so there's not really a good reason to not use it.

If youre the vegan that keeps shitposting with image macros on here, cut it out, though.

This niggers in this thread are a good reason why we don't see many cookalongs anymore these days.

Looks good, OP. Not to keen on vegan substitutes myself, but if it tastes good, then who gives a shit.

>> No.10466878

>>10466756
Not bad OP, not bad at all. I'm a plating fag so would have liked to see it "dolled up" a little bit more but sure it tasted good. Do more cookalongs

Also, are you vegan or just cooking a vegan dish?

That doesn't even make sense. Are you charring the ever-loving hell out of the vegetables and using some some form of mushrooms or seaweed to make up for the savory aspect, while adding a thickening agent at the end?

That's a hell of a lot of effort for a midnight snack.

I'm getting ready for an after midnight snack, but I'm just going to eat some lima beans with ham over rice that is leftover from supper.
