If someone has grown up enjoying meals that contain animal products but don't want to contribute to that industry then there are options for them.

I think meatcucks are threatened by Vegans because they know that Vegans are ethically superior. Meatcucks cannot take the fact that they feel conflicted. The meatcuck, confronted by the supreme ethical position of the vegan, feels so threatened that he acts 'alpha' by 'cookin up a brisket' or 'slinging dome dogs' or 'choppin down the old lettuce tree and plantin a bacon bush'. He has to act like a child, in constant denial because he fears the truth.

The truth is that meatcucks do more damage each day than 1000 Vegans. Vegans are better people. If heaven is real, the only things on the menu will be plant based. Meatcucks know this. I'm an omnivore who eats organically raised lean white meats as well as a variety of leafy greens, tuners, lentils, peas, beans and all other veggies (most of which I grow using my own compost from food I've grown in the past) and also the rare chance seafood if it is wild caught and I am near the sea. I can guarantee you that my cardiovascular and skeletal/muscular systems are both vastly superior to your own and will allow me to continue exercising aerobically and anaerobically at high levels for many years to come. Now I'm not saying everyone needs to be an ultramarathoner, but people should exercise a lot in order to operate at our highest levels. Exercise requires complex proteins that lean meats and some dairy can provide whereas diets lacking these animal proteins often leave joints hurting after distance running and intense workouts whereafter the body requires readily available proteins- found in meat- to recover and best grow.

We're not threatened. We're annoyed because not only you won't shut up about your lifestyle choice, you're still killing kids and animals left and right by forcing your bullshit on others.

According to my experience, most vegetarians are decent people. I have lunch once or twice a week at a vegetarian restaurant near my office, and 90% of the people there act like decent human beings, regardless of diet choices. Occasional eaters like myself; the manager of the nearby bookstore, who only eats there so his wife will stop bothering him about his health; the owners, who've converted to serious, strict vegetarianism years ago for religious reasons, everyone gets along finely.

But, whenever a vegan comes in, he acts like a raging cunt, spitting hate at anyone that dares to defy his holy belief that a chicken is a wonderful, smart creature, whose life should be valued the same as anyone in the place. I've met exactly ONE vegan that acted like a civilized person (my mother's physiotherapist), and she only adopted a vegan diet to help with weight loss.

So, yeah, there's a reason why vegans are avoided by those who don't want their day ruined.
