What is the best pre-made pizza sauce and why is it Mutti?

I don't get why anyone would buy premade pizza sauce. I mean, if you're using premade sauce and a premade crust, why don't you just get a premade pizza? If you're making your own crust, why can't you spend the 20 minutes it takes to make a good sauce? Other than pizzerias, it's odd that this product is even sold to consumers.

cause Mutti's sauce tastes pretty much just like the sauce I make on my own with the added benefit of not having to clean anything

Then your sauce sucks.

I don't know, this has always been really good to me. The richness and spices versus cost is the best.
Cost be damned, I'd use the Green Mill pizza sauce in the glass jar.

Just shut the fuck up. You're a fucking retard. This thread is as simple as they come. Either post premade sauces or shut your fucking mouth. Simple. You come off real daft otherwise. Now fuck off.

Not exactly a sauce but local deli is run by dagos and they have canned fire roasted tomatoes. I've just been using that and seasoning my pizza on top. Viola!

Never tried san marzana (at home anyway) because the grocery stores around my area only have whole peeled Hunts/Red Gold/other generics, so I end up going with Muir Glen organic based on ATK's taste tests. Am I really missing out?

Muir Glen is a good brand too: i just always grab some San Marzano variety when making a red/meat pasta sauce (they can help add sweetness to a sauce, instead of using a sweetener like sugar).
