Which is better - keto or calorie deficit?

>> No.10449183

You won't lose weight without a caloric deficit, retard.

Moron. When you shit out undigested food, not an ounce of that food was converted into energy and you didn't break the law of thermodynamics for that to happen.

Both, but keto is better anyway. You can have a calorie deficit eating only donuts and cakes, you might lose a little weight but you'll feel like shit.

>> No.10449516

>>10449171
Both keto and deficit has been proven to improve the length of time you stay alive, but a straight deficiency probably is the easiest to sustain, considering how a lot of modern dining doesn't consider people wanting keto.
A low carb caloric deficit is probably the best way of going about things, depending on what your goals are and such

>> No.10449535

Keto in order to make keeping a deficit easier.

>> No.10450048

No, but if you're shitting out undigested food you did break the law of though shalt not binge eat like a fat fuck while trying to lose weight.

>> No.10450076

This is absolutely false. You can still be plus calories and lose weight. Most people eat sugar and carbs as their main source of food. Fast acting energy source with high yield of energy per gram. That being said removing carbs and sugars from the diet forces the body to use fat as an energy source. So you are plus on calories but minus on consumable energy.

Calorie deficit. Teaches you how much to eat, which is what you need to know to never get fat again. People on keto just can’t stand being hungry, and if they ever quit keto they will probably get fat again since they never learned portion control.

>sugar and carbs
Sugars are carbs you collossal retard.
You are clearly ignorant and in no position to give dietary advice.
Time to fuck off.

>>10450102
I'm aware they're basically same thing sweetie. They just come in different molecule chains based on their complexity. Name calling doesn't make you correct. I eat plus calories every day and lose weight but I cut bread out if my diet. I never eat any simple sugars you get from junk food and soda. You fat fucks in these threads like to pretend you know shit but you keep shoving tendies and beer down your throat. Kys

>> No.10450156

Keto only attracts fat people because they think they can lose weight by eating the same shit they already eat too much of, like meat and cheese.

Calorie deficit is easier though, assuming you aren't weak-willed.

I dont do full keto, but I get most of my calories from fat. My macro breakdown is probably 50/30/20 fats/carbs/proteins

It makes me feel fuller all day. I don't have sugar crashes, but occasionally I find myself in a constant state of groginess. But it's constant.

IMO the key is to
- aggressively remove ALL sugars (only even have 1-2 fruit servings of fruit a day)
- eat as much green vegetables that grow above ground as possible
- eat unprocess meats, mostly fish and poultry
- eat mostly unsaturated fats, think nuts, avocado, olive oils, etc.
- if you really must, small portions of whole grains (oats, wild rice, etc)

Lost 60 lbs doing a calorie defecit and cardio.
Also calorie defecit is the easiest to maintain
Lastly, you tend to gravitate to lower carbs due to calorie counting but I'm carbs are needed if you have an occupation that requires thinking outside manual labor.

And how exactly do you pull that off unless you're eating hundreds of grams of fiber?
