I bought this product one time and deeply regretted it.

The texture of overnight oats is absolutely horrific. It feels like a wad of wet paper in your mouth.

What I wanna know is why do american manufacturers fill their products with loads of powdered dextrose in every thing?

>we want a product that's completely filled with sugar, but you can't taste any of it.

Don't, they're horrible, too sweet and extremely soggy. Homemade beats this by miles.

Just take some milk, oats, fruit, yogurt, and chia seeds and put em in a small container yourself. Shit's easy. Honestly you could even forgo the yogurt if you really wanted.

Don't fall into their trap.

140g of oatmeal, 16oz of whole milk, 75g of protein, 170g of Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries or bananas. Should total out to 900 something calories.

Sorry I don’t want to spend $30 on fruits and other shit when I can just spend $1 each and have five different flavors conveniently prepared for me.
>>10449655
Idk what you did wrong but I just ate mine that I put in the fridge 15 hours ago and the oats still had plenty of bite.

Would definitely buy again for the price.

Not him, but anyone can see the problem form when that negligible premium is paid for a $1 breakfast for five days a week. $5 plus tax to eat a cup of oats and dried fruit doesn't seem so cheap when you consider that same money could buy two dozen eggs.
With very little effort at all, you could have a dozen eggs, enough oats to last two weeks, and some cheap fruit like bananas for the same price as that week of "cheap", pre-made breakfast.

Learn to shop and learn to cook.

Maybe people don’t want to eat fucking eggs and $5 isn’t breaking the bank. God what a terrible argument.

>Maybe people don’t want to eat fucking eggs
So you'd be getting the same breakfast for half the price, and you (probably) wouldn't load it with processed sugars and preservatives so it'd be objectively better.
>$5 isn't breaking the bank
You're right. You absolutely should go out and spend $5 you don't have to every week just to spite someone on the internet who gave you an objectively better alternative.

>> No.10453895

>>10453887
You have serious issues if you’re writing paragraphs about someone not minding spending $5/week on food they enjoy. And your main issue is they could spend that money on eggs and oats that they don’t want instead because it’s marginally cheaper and healthier? They’re fuckig oats, not a McDonalds breakfast. Seriously seek help, you’re a frightening individual.

What's the difference between overnight oats and just cooked normal?

>> No.10453942

>>10453938
cooked oats is cooked on a stove. typically 5-10 minutes for rolled oats, 30 minutes to an hour for steel cut oats

overnight oats are raw uncooked oats you put in a tupperware or covered bowl with milk and other stuff like frozen berries in the fridge overnight. i recommend only using rolled oats if ya wanna try it, steel cut oats are terrible overnight (i tried it, was terrible).

>> No.10453944

>>10453938
Soaking them in milk/almond milk/yogurt overnight gives them a creamier consistency than boiling, and they're cold. It also cuts down on prep in the morning, since you can just grab it and go.
