I don't have a dining table. I just eat with my partner on our industrial sized desk. holds four 25 inch monitors and all the peripherals needed. We always want to watch a TV show or movie while eating, so we end up here anyways. Why eat at a dining table?

When I visit my mother and stay in my old room I use a little stool as a table. It's just the right size to hold a plate.

do you think people use their keyboards as a serving plate? I eat every meal in front of the computer and keyboard is spotless. I push the keyboard up under the monitor and use the remaining space for the bowl or plate. The food never travels over the keyboard.
