Oatmeal can be nice even on its own.
But just adding a little fruit would be more than enough to bring it to the next level.

Here is what I eat every morning, and its delicious.
2 cups oats, cinnamon, frozen berries, ground flax seed, handful of grapes and walnuts, god damn its so good.

What is the ideal breakfast for energy in your opinion? Mine is a banana, toast with 1 fried egg on top (whole wheat), 1 bowl of oatmeal with cinnamon, and 1 glass of green tea.

Oatmeal is a fucking treat you plebian. Natural peanut butter, apple, cinnamon, walnuts. No added sugar and delicious. Also substitute apples for bananas and add some sugar free chocolate chips for a change of pace.

I'd lose the egg and toast desu. You already got the oatmeal for carbs. Protein and saturated fat in the morning is a bad idea imo. I like to drink some nut milk in the morning instead and have some bread with honey/jam/fruit. I don't like a heavy breakfast because I feel it slows me down.
