For me, it's the gin and tonic, the most refreshing cocktail.

I agree, also my favorite. Have you tried the 'fever tree' brand tonic? Very good stuff, but as I like to drink a lot, it does make getting loose harder.

Indian > Mediterranean > elderflower
Their ginger beer and ginger ale are also tasty
Shits pricey though

I like Broker's gin the best, but that's just my opinion and I like dry gins.

I just got into drinking and bought a bottle of Bombay for G&T. Would you say it's a good gin?
Also what other easy gin cocktail recipes do you have for a beginner like me?

I hate tonic water so much.
It tastes like the aftertaste of vomit.

Does anyone here drink gin neat or with ice? I find it inexplicable that it isn't more common, especially when vodka is drunk straight when it's practically alcohol solution.

It's got a sort of weird taste to it from the botanical to drink straight for me. I think it works better as a mixer, it sort of needs some dilution.

Tanqueray is a better starting point, but the best is Only Gin. Only Gin was once decently priced but then they won some international competitions.

You seem to be unfamiliar with 4chan posting culture. /ck/ is a Trump free zone, anon. We'll give you a pass this one time, but now that you know please refrain from it in the future. Thank you, and enjoy yourself.

True, though it can't be worse than downing a shot of Jaeger. However, there are a lot of boutique gins nowadays that're arguably designed to be savoured straight to highlight the terroir and quality of exotic ingredients (e.g. Schwarzwald).

There are some better affordable tonics than Fever Tree which is just all label and hype. You just have to taste around.

I like Hendrick's if we're using upper shelf liquor.
