What's the correct way to serve spaghetti bolognese;
1) with bolognese sauce presented on top of spaghetti
2) with bolognese sauce mixed through spaghetti

The spagehti should be finished in the sauce

Family style. If you want it on top, use a plate. If you want it mixed, use a bowl. And a bowl of parmesan on the side.

Why do britbongs have such dumb ideas? That's tomatoes on boiled spaghetti. Boglonese ragu is braised meat and it's served on flat pasta.

Y'know there's something to be said for green-can parmesan. With my friends, there's parmesan, shitty parm, and fake parm. The latter two being the pre-grated in the fridge section, and kraft respectively.

Good parm is for eating good food. Shitty parm is for putting in meatballs and the like, because it's more dehydrated and coated with starch. And fake parm is for things like frozen pizza and fazoli's.

Riggatoni with white clam sauce from a mom & pop joint a block away from me.
They gave me extra breads to sop up the sauce.

Is this what /x/ calls a computer generated algorithm post?

Like, it has a meme picture, named from a gallery (laugh 3? what the fuck). It quotes a person, and then says something semi-human that has nothing to do with anything. What the hell is going on in this neuromancy world?

Shitty parm is for shitty meatballs pleb. That said, if you're eating crappy food anyway, I agree. You should make some good meatballs if you haven't though. You can make them in bulk, and they freeze well. Making meatballs is kind of a chore. They're good to make in large batches.

And then this one that has nothing to do with anything but speaks in memespeak buzzwords. I think the computahs are running weird algorithms. And why in this irrelevant thread? Just for test-driving?

>> No.10416427

I'd argue it really doesn't matter in that application. The pre-shredded, more-dehydrated, and coated-in-starch shitty parm lends itself well to pure-meat meatballs, as opposed to the ones with milk-soaked bread (the term is eluding me right now).

Spaghetti are awful for a thick chunky sauce such as bolognese. It was originally made with tagliatelle, as far as I know. There are at least a dozen pasta shapes that work better with bolognese than spaghetti. Penne, farfalle, fusilli and conchiglie for example. Spaghetti is good for thin sauces such as napoli, aglio e olio, etc.
