I always get greens here to fry on a pan. They're much cheaper than kale or spinach, and are similar nutritionally

Big fan of the ever abundant rice selection. Lots of good brands and grain shapes national chains don't carry. Also a big fan of the produce section. Lots of mango varieties and herbs. The snacks are always fun to browse too.

I was wondering the same thing. I figured for sardines you could snack on them like chips, but if you look to the right in >>10374623 you can see the edge of packaging for some croaker, which are much larger and very bony. Possibly boil them into soup stock?

Any vegetable I can get my hands on. A bag of baby bok choy, a daikon radish, mushrooms, gigantic napa cabbage heads for 30 cents.

If you have an H Mart near I highly suggest checking it out.Their seafood counter is amazing. Oysters for 50 cents each, fresh scallops, amazing selection of whole fish that they will breakdown any way you want. A few weeks ago they had live crab on sale for $3.

Plus many have food court style rings around the outside that serve a bunch of different dishes for next to nothing.

The fresh herbs selections at my nearby ones are huge, but fuck if they aren't impossible to decipher.

Its like they threw all the bundles in a tumbler then dumped them into the open refrigerator and some drunk employee with a disgusting growth on her face just randomly stuck the names/price tags willy-nilly wherever.

Why? My town's Azn market has god-tier produce, some of it grown locally. There's a little thai lady who grows her own Kaffir lime leaves, curry leaves, etc, and lemongrass who sells them to the shop. The other produce they get from wholesalers is all from the US or Canada (they leave the packaging lying around so it's not hard to see where things come from)
