I don't think I've ever had legit chinese food...just the americanized version of it...which can be tolerable but I doubt it's legit considering how huge the chinese eastern coast is and the river system. They probably mostly eat fish.

Not quite, fish is common but not as much as pork or chicken because fish is much more work to cook, and the type of freshwater fish we eat are usually too bony for Western taste anyways.

I'm Chinese American and it's kind of samey once you've tried a few dishes. All the restaurants I've been to serve the same thing.

I like the salt and pepper crab, roast duck, and shrimp dumpling.
