Tabasco is probrably one of the best comercial sauces, but I simply never found one as good as fresh homemade sauce.

I think because people are creatures of habit and also a bit nostalgic/traditional and if good ol' Dad poured Tabasco on his food well then that's what I'll have. Also with hot sauces people are reluctant to try something that may be too hot for their taste.

Alright, I went out and bought Tobasco, Louisiana's, and the Sriracha label "chili garlic sauce" (I thought I saw a pic of it but I guess I'm wrong, this shit in pic related)

I slapped each one on a slice of pizza as I ate it.

Tobasco has a lot more of a kick but not much flavor.

Louisiana tastes better but I barely even noticed it in pizza, a lot less kick.

The chili garlic sauce had flavor and a slower burn to it.

I'd had to say tobasco on pizza gives it a unique sensation than just flavor, I like it. By itself it tastes pretty funky. Louisiana's tastes better but barely kick (so it's the lowest for me), and the chili garlic sauce has the best of both. Overall the chili garlic wins, but tobasco is great on pizza for that burn without the pain without taking away from the pizza itself.

Honestly not a bad idea. I keep 12oz bottles of it at home and work, but I hate when I want some tabasco and I'm at some fast food place that doesn't have any

Not really hot, but very flavorful. Definitely goes well with other hot sauces.

>no flavor
It has a vinegary taste, and it barely qualifies as hot.

I hate Tabasco, it's far too vinegar-y for me. The only thing it's good in is gumbo.

This may be my favorite hot sauce, and around here it's dirt cheap.

My mom uses this when she makes chili. The bottle lasts for like a year because you only need a drop or two each time.

>how is "tabasco" such a difficult word to typo?
I've been wondering that too, it's pretty often misspelled.

Picked this up after a lady at work broke my bottle of Blaire's Ultra Death and it's really nice. Leaves a good burn but it doesn't feel like a chemical burn and even though it's an extract sauce it has a lot of good non-metallic flavor to it. Been using it on pizza.

Favorite all time sauce is mad dog 357 gold edition but I think it goes bad quickly because after a week or two every bottle I buy ends up giving me "babies" where my stomach becomes very pain.
