We cook every kind of rice in the US because we're not a 3rd world shithole clinging to poverty based traditions.

Shut up and post some rice dumbass

>> No.10338886

I see a lot of people doing this but only with ricecookers. Now if you don't have a ricecooker do you put in extra water for the veg? Or put rice in, the water it uses and then the veg?

Believe it or not, my country most typical rice dish is a dessert, and cooking rice in milk is supposed to be ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING by asian standard

They do the same in my country, except they then put it in a pie and throw it in the oven. Fucking delicious though.

We don't really bother seasoning or dumping the meat and veggina into the rice cooker. The chicken and veggoune always come out mushy and less appetizing than preparing them separately.

Plain white rice
Pandan (screwpine) leaves
Coconut milk (instead of tap water)

I am intrigued and a little aroused. Is it a flaky crust, or a shortbread crust? It looks like rice pudding and a creme caramel had a baby.

Rice pudding is a universal dish, sure lactose intolerant east asians may scorn it but south east asians for example just use coconut milk. All the other "asians" are pretty fond of it too, in fact my favorite version is the iranian one with cardammom, saffron and pistachios.
