Do eggs belong on burgers?

The place I work we don’t serve fried eggs on anything, but sometimes someone will ask for an egg on their burger and we just crank the heat all the way up and cook them like shit. I can cook an egg just fine, but don’t expect that when you request something not on the menu, especially when it’s busy.

eggs dont add the right flavor, they are too mild. they are better alone, on toast to soak up some yolk. eggs on everything is a waste of their unique taste and texture. my wife makes home fries and puts the over easy egg on top, its nice, the yolk coats the potatos.

Eggs, bacon, onion and avocado. Mix sriracha with mayo. A pulled apart grilled cheese as the buns.

Or egg and gravy making it impossible to hold the burger, forcing you to use a fork. Some mozzarella or queso fresco. Fries inside the burger, not as a side.

Someone fucking baste me already holy shit.
