I used to enjoy a nice /chinbuff/ from time to time, then the restaurant was sold and the new owners really let the food quality go.
So now, it's just regular chinese takeout from the other good places (that don't have a buffet).

I have not done takeout in years. Maybe I should start again, but I usually get 3 plates at a buffet, that amount of takeout would be expensive.

Sounds nice, anon. I do wish there were more non chinese buffets. The only ones around me seem to be pizza buffets or old country buffet/golden corall that are depressing with all the old sad people. Why not a hamburger and steak buffet?

I just can’t get into western Chinese food after actually being in china. Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, none of them have been ruined by actually eating in that country, but god damn do the Chinese ever bastardize their food to sell it to white people. I guess it also doesn’t help that China has the best food I have ever eaten.

To be honest tho, it probably also has the worst food I have ever eaten as well.

True, even casino buffets which are pretty much the only ones I go to, the clientele look like they belong in a charnal house sarcophogas. And the food matches them.

Went to the one by me just yesterday, it's not that bad but that's all you can expect from a buffet. I will say, as far as buffets go, this is probably the best in the area
My plate is always
>chicken (General Tso, honey, whatever) and white rice
>sweet and sour chicken with 2 egg rolls
>whatever else might catch my eye (sometimes sushi, sometimes some special, I avoid the stuff that's absolute shit like pizza)
>fruit for dessert
I feel like I eat alright, the price is $8 at lunch, and it's all old people. It's shit, but there's much worse; I don't mind this place

Lunch special buffets always draw in old peeps which is slow-paced.That's cozier than evening crowds which are mostly obese people who are sweating profusely and breathing heavy when struggling to the different trays.
