Stop buying prepared foods all together. If you want something filling and good for you to ration, make a big pot of vegetable soup instead.

Prepared foods intentionally skimp on high calorie items like more meat, excessive cheese, and such. It's fine. Nothing wrong with stouffers, either. May I suggest you buy the eggplant next time for a few less carbs. It's just as tasty and comes in various sizes too, not just family size.

>Losing weight is about cutting calories, keeping weight off is about building good habits.
>>t. lost 85 lbs with soup and 30 minutes of exercise a day
Just cutting calories or only making homemade food doesn't give this guy any good habits advice. I would instead give him a suggestion of how to satiate cravings for tasty 2nds. OP, i would start ALL MEALS with an appetizer salad or cup of soup. This gives you a filling start to your main entree load of calories, and gives your brain the 20 minutes it needs to figure out you're full and no longer really need to eat more. You can keep soups down to 50-100cals, and many salad ideas can be only 50-150 ideas too. I love a marinated tomato salad, cucumber-onion salad, pepper strips and dip, or an indulgent dressing tossed on nearly calorie free greens. We're not talking salad bar creations here, just a time waster that has a lot of water in it. Mind trick.

It's just the right amount of caffeine and fat content to keep me going for half the day without feeling hungry. Lost around 18 lbs in 2 months drinking this and a bunch of tea every other day and counting my calories with one of those calorie counter apps. Bonus prize is that coconut oil is versatile as fuck and I've used it when pan frying chicken or steak and even used it as a moisturizer and it doesn't leave a greasy feeling on my skin (I do smell like a cookie afterwards though).

>Why the fuck is binge eating so pleasurable?
Because humans spent the vast majority of their evolutionary history eating in a feast/famine style. Fasting has a wide range of proven health benefits and there's no downside to eating lots of food at once, as long as you don't do it at every meal. The idea that you'll die if you don't eat 3 meals a day, every day, is a very modern invention.

I used to be pretty lanky, too. I was like 230 something my Sophmore year, but when I stopped playing sports in Senior year I just started ballooning out like crazy and never stopped. I gained like 30 pounds in my last year of highschool before I seemingly plateaued, but I guess recently my metabolisim has been slowing down and ive become more sedentary so I've just been getting bigger and bigger. I know its.not good for me but honestly I don't particularly care. I guess i just love food too much to live to 80. I'm going to confide in /ck/ something I've never told another living soul in my life. I have a eating fetish. Binge eating is both a gastronomic and sexual pleasure for me. For me a buffet is like a brothel. Where most people get a momentary sense of moderate satiation from a big filling meal, I get a raging erection. I don't know why I have this fetish, I don't know what exactly makes it appealing, but I'll be damned if it isn't one of.the strongest instinctual forces I've ever felt. The fundamental wants, food and sex, are such basic desires that they're almost beyond primal. When combined these desires become a force stronger than any sense of logic or reason my brain can possibly create.

Is it unhealthy? Yes. Is it self-destructive? You betcha. But God damn does it turn me on to sit back, stuffed to capacity, belly ready to burst, and then try to force myself to fit in a few more bites. The sensation of a heavy stomach compressing everything else in my abdomen only exacerbates the already racing sexual pleasure in my groin. For me, to eat, and to overeat, is to masturbate.

This behaviour has certainly had an effect on my waistline. Last time i checked my weight I was just shy of 290. I'm pretty sure I'm over 300 by now, although I'm too hesitant to actually check. Seeing as how insatiable my appetite has become, both through sexual desire and due to the basic want for food, I can say with confidence that I can't see myself getting smaller anytime soon. Is it a little scary? Yes. But in the long run what about life isn't? I may very well be walking down the spiral path of self destructive sexual desires but god damn if I'm not enjoying the journey. As >>10115739 said its probably better to die fat and happy at 55 then to have to slog through those shitty senior years anyway.

You aren't going to be happy my man, you are going to be fucking miserable for close to a decade before the fatness takes you away. I've seen multiple people eat themselves to death and once the medical problems start piling up it's constant suffering that continually gets worse until everything ends. But I don't know maybe you'll enjoy stuffing your face when every part of your body that you can still feel hurts and you haven't been able to catch your breath for five years.

/fit/ here: make ~100 gram protein shakes and drink that + water instead of eating anything for lunch, dinners and breakfasts should be small

breakfast - single serving cereal bowl with milk ~500 cal
lunch - 4 cups 2% milk with protein powder mixed in + water ~500 cal~
dinner - small meal + water ~500 cal

You weirdos aren't actually that weird. It's been documented that for some people overeating causes sexual pleasure due to the expanded stomach compressing and stimulating sexual organs in the lower abdomen. Apparently it's more common in women than men because they have a uterus and junk up in there. Doing this repeatedly causes your brain to associate overeating with sex and sexual pleasure, creating a simple Pavlovian response cycle making you want to overeat more. That combined with the fact that food and sex are the two most basic desires for virtually every animal make the relationship between the two actions extremely strong.
