I want to make a loaf of bread but I don't know what I'm doing I have bread flour yeast and what you would find in a typical kitchen. Please give me a recipe to try in the oven or a bread machine.

1 packet of yeast (look up the conversation i don't know it or care)
3-4 cups of flower
1 tsp of salt
its like 1.5 cups of water, or add enough water until things stick but isn't a soup
1 tsp of sugar or was it tablespoon who cares
some amount of butter at least 2 table spoons
oil/butter/cooking spray

Get all that shit. Now add WATER, YEAST, and SUGAR to your mixing bowl and mix. Maybe warm up the water so its feels hot when it comes out of the tap I have been told to but never see any difference. Let it set for 5min or so. Add 1 cup of FLOWER, SALT, 2 table spoons of melted BUTTER and mix. Keep adding FLOWER until the mixture starts to stick to itself and off the bowl. Once its sticking to itself, kneed it. I recommend the kneeding hook on your stand mixed. Don't have a stand mixer or a hook? Go get them, fuck mixing by hand. Set the mixer to like 3 or 4 and let it beat the shit out of the dough for like 10 minutes. I have read more but all it really does is makes me wait longer I haven't seen a difference.

Now that everything is mixed, spray whatever you want to put your bread into. I use an 8" square glass and cover it with something, plastic wrap, a cloth, i don't care. If you want bread ASAP, set it somewhere warm for an hour. Otherwise set it in your fridge over night.

Now heat up your oven to 450F. Once its been heated (don't cheat and put your bread in before its preheated, it doesn't work this time) Set it for 15minutes and then cool it down to 350F and let it bake for 35-40 minutes. I check on it every now and then, I never really know how long it properly takes at this point. Pull it out and remove it from your pan and let it set for maybe 5 minutes, or not because you want hot and warm bread. Apply melted BUTTER onto it. I have this little brush I used to cover the top with butter.

This bread works well for me and everyone I know loves it. Its usually not that fluffy like the dumb shit you buy at the store. Sometimes I add cinnamon.

Oh and if like using metric, go use google conversions. You can do it on your phone while your cooking.
