As someone who lives in Florida and has visited California I’d say this is mostly not true. You could definitely find places on California that are worse than Florida, but the best of California is way better than the best of Florida. Depends on what you like tho. Temperature wise, outside of the panhandle, we’re 90 most days with around 80% humidity, 90-100% at night. It rains a lot and our seasons are more like wet or dry. Winter is the best time imo. More days that are 70, little less humidity. Doesn’t last long tho and is usually not consistent. Good breeze most days if you’re coastal, but if you’re not it’s like living in a hot stagnant drying machine halfway through it’s drying cycle.

California on the other hand, outside of the deserts, a) has four seasons, b) is less humid and c) is cooler most of the year, with far more days that are in the 70’s, which imo is the ideal outside temp. Hell even 80 with low humidity feels amazing imo.

Anyway just an in depth observation, mostly of Florida, in the middle of a shitty thread on a cooking forum. For those who are interested. Very different states tho. Hate the weather here and our politicians are probably as shitty an annoying than California (tho in different ways,) we at least can have guns and fun cars easily.
