Back in the day Denny's was fine. A perfectly serviceable place to get food while you're smashed at whatever time. But from 2011-2016 in the half dozen or so times I went there, I was not just unsatisfied, but irritated. Through at least 4 different locations, I suffered poor service, unreasonable portions, and finally, the final straw, inedible bacon. I mean if you wait 45 minutes for your food (after having waited more than 15 to order) to Get "scrambled" eggs that are dry and flavorless (but I have literally never gotten decent scrambled eggs from a restaurant so whatever) but getting undercooked hash browns and BLAND AS FUCK BACON the place was declared dead to us by our later familias, and I cannot blame him.
